Motivational Monday

When my mom talks about her pregnancy with me...I was the rebellious one. The one who wouldn't stop kicking...that would shake all around when she sat down. Relentlessly until she got up and moved around again. She always tells the story of my birth, the one who flew out like a football ready to go!

Yet I stop myself with questions and over thinking of the most basic concepts. So this coming month, the last month of the year of manifestation, I am playing full out with intention. I'm thinking less and doing more.

December Goals Include:

1) Hot Water with Lemon and Ginger Daily
2) Journal entry Daily
3) Clean Eating Daily (exceptions are 12/24 & 12/25 for family recipe tamales)
4) Exercise, any type of work out, for at least 30 minutes daily
5) No weight-in until 12/31
6) Organize Guest Room and Office
7) Follow-up on Doctor Appt's for tests
8) Give each day 100% in every area; work and home life

Get on up and join me with your December Goals. Get up and get started.

Day 1. Wk 2.

The exercise this morning was a no-brainer. I was up and ready to get it done this morning. Lower-body weight training was fun and I added in my own circuit training rotation to burn a few more calories.

Food on the other hand...was on the brain all day. I wanted healthy stuff but wasn't prepared so I was close to eating unhealthy foods. I reminded myself of the importance of eating only things from the body - for - life challenge food list.  Phew,  I made it through the day and even said, NO, to the pizza offer at my friends place. Yay!

To keeping my eye on the prize.

Day 18. Focus

I've planned out as much as I can. There are plans that may need to be changed and that's okay. I am learning that is important to plan and be flexible. Planning is key to success but sometimes life throws a curve ball. Flexibility allows me to switch and change my work out if the schedule doesn't work.

And my focus, my focus allows me to push through it. Just as I'm ready to give up, or to eat that one thing I think, "no, focus". Yes, slip ups will occur but I would like to keep them as far and few between.

My goal has reached a high level of importance and this time its going to happen. I can easily call it the hardest challenge of my life. It can be daunting but I also view it as totally possible.
